Currently, Go:Do is a team of two, Anna and Beth. They had a passion and drive to take a great idea and go do it.

Anna, together with her husband Steve, had the idea of creating a fitness marketplace after they faced difficulties, for different reasons, finding and booking training sessions. Anna enjoys personal training especially during injury rehabilitation, and was hooked. Steve is a competitive triathlete, and so has used various coaches and trainers over the years. They found they were both wasting precious time finding the right trainers, then going back and forth messaging, and often rescheduling at late notice. They also realised that the process was frustrating and difficult to manage for trainers. So, Anna decided to unleash her entrepreneurial spirit on her return to work, having had some time out to raise children, by launching Go:Do – a service she believes will add real value to people like her, busy working mums trying to make time to care of themselves; as well as athletes with specific goals they are striving to achieve, whilst also supporting trainers to grow their businesses.

Beth co-founded Go:Do after leaving a corporate job in finance in search of an opportunity where she was able to apply her skills and experience to a role that she was passionate and cared personally about. Go:Do was the perfect fit. Her primary sport is swimming (specifically in open water), but she also loves strength and conditioning classes and personal training. For her, swimming provides escapism from the hustle and bustle, whilst she loves the satisfaction of seeing tangible results from strength training as you get stronger and fitter.

They are of course assisted, supported and inspired by a wonderful network of experts. This comprises fantastic, quality developers ready to tackle any problem with a good brew and some Northern humour; a crack marketing team armed to educate us in the subtleties of social media; and, of course, family and friends with unwavering belief, encouragement and patience.

We believe that being active is key to both physical and mental health and well-being and will be leading by example as Go:Do grows.

We won’t be staying as two for long, if you’re interested in learning more about us or have any questions, please feel free to get in touch. Email

We’re currently looking for a proactive and energetic intern to help us grow faster. It that sounds like you, we want to hear from you.
